Digital Campus – We're Launching a New Service 

We will integrate buildings, roads, utility networks, street lighting, green spaces, and street furniture into a single, accurate digital model that you will use in MawisGeoportal. 

Managing a large facility means searching for information every day. Drawings are stored in binders, inspection reports are in email, the list of trees is in a spreadsheet, and only one maintenance worker remembers the cable locations. When planning a repair or dealing with an emergency, the picture of the property is pieced together from many sources and is often inaccurate. 

A digital campus solves this problem. It creates an up-to-date digital representation of the campus's actual condition, which you can access anytime, anywhere. 

What Is a Digital Campus? 

Digital Campus is a new service within the MawisPasport product. It brings together three elements that were previously handled separately: 

• precise geodetic survey of the current condition, 
• inventory of assets, 
• ongoing data tracking and management in the MawisGeoportal web application. 

You choose the scope yourself. You can start with a single survey—such as one for buildings or lighting—and add other sections as needed and within your budget. 

Buildings, utility networks, and green spaces on a single map 

The digital complex can include records of buildings, roads and parking lots, street lighting, green spaces, street furniture, and waste collection points. As a surveying company, we will also locate and precisely survey utility networks. If they are subject to mandatory registration in the Digital Technical Map of the Czech Republic, we will convert the data to the JVF DTM format and submit it on your behalf.

From Surveying to Day-to-Day Management 

The digital campus is being built in five steps: 

• Background Information and Assessment. We will gather and review the available documentation and identify what is missing. 
• Data consolidation. We will convert all information into a single, unified structure. 
• GIS Implementation. We will upload the data and make it available on MawisGeoportal. 
• Training. We'll teach your users how to use the system. 
• Operation and Updates. The facility is changing, and the data changes along with it. 

All your data at your fingertips, anytime 

You can find the digital site data in the MawisGeoportal web application. You don't need to install anything—all you need is a computer or smartphone with a web browser. 

• You can view the entire complex on the map in both 2D and 3D. 
• You continuously edit and update the data. 
• You share the documentation with colleagues and external partners, such as a service provider. 

The digital campus thus transforms traditional asset tracking into a tool for day-to-day decision-making. Less time spent searching for documentation means more time for campus management, maintenance, and development. 

Who Is the Digital Campus Intended For? 

This service is designed for property owners and facility managers who want to keep track of their assets in one place. Typical examples include manufacturing and industrial facilities, logistics centers, hospitals, schools and campuses, sports facilities, and facilities managed by cities and regions.
