MawisUtility – Statement on the Existence of Networks

In the following text, we cite data from a typical user—an actual electrical engineering and construction firm—which we have renamed ABC-elektro for publication purposes.

ABC-elektro, a company specializing in the design and engineering of electrical networks and connections, has been successfully using the MawisUtility system since 2016 to efficiently and quickly process construction projects. This system allows them to gain an overview of the technical infrastructure in a given area and communicate with relevant entities through requests for statements regarding the existence of the network.

From 2016 to 2023, ABC-elektro significantly increased the number of requests submitted through the MawisUtility system. In 2016, 45 requests were submitted, while in 2022 the number of requests reached 222. This increase in system usage indicates that ABC-elektro is aware of the benefits the system provides and actively uses it for its projects.
One of the main benefits ABC-elektro has gained from the MawisUtility system is significant time savings. Before the system was implemented, engineers had to spend a lot of time searching for information about existing networks from various entities. Thanks to the MawisUtility system, they now have clear and up-to-date information in one place, which allows them to make faster decisions and plan projects more efficiently.
Another benefit is cost savings. Obtaining information from individual entities is expensive. The MawisUtility system simplifies the process, allows entities to be contacted in bulk and electronically, and provides users with complete and up-to-date information on technical infrastructure through responses to requests generated by the system. This leads to a reduction in costs associated with the review of construction projects.
Thanks to the MawisUtility system, ABC-elektro has also gained better control over its projects. Engineers can easily track responses from individual entities to requests for confirmation of network existence and quickly respond to any changes or requirements. This allows them to plan and execute their projects with greater precision and minimize potential issues related to insufficient knowledge of existing networks.
Since we are in the middle of 2023, we do not have complete data on the number of requests submitted this year. So far, 137 have been submitted. Based on previous trends in ABC-elektro’s use of the MawisUtility system, it can be assumed that the number of requests in 2023 could be similar to or higher than in previous years.
ABC-elektro has been using the MawisUtility system since 2016, and the trend of a growing number of applications indicates that the system is still actively used.
However, it is important to emphasize that ABC-elektro has long used the MawisUtility system to efficiently and quickly process construction projects. The system makes it easier for them to gain an overview of the technical infrastructure in a given area and simplifies communication with other entities.
